He does not shy away from personal opinons...but frames them clearly as such.
He frames the game in the context of its time. Games do not exist in isolation, folks!
After reading a handful of reviews on popular sites for this particular game, these basic elements were noticeably omitted. The most well-written review was barely more than just a description of the game's elements and visceral reactions. For game reviews, actual critique should be the standard. Leave the brief overviews to 'First Look' and 'Preview' articles, please.
